Der Bergische Weg ist Deutschlands schönster Wanderweg 2024! Dem Wahnbach auf der Spur

From Much, where the young writer Heinrich Böll found refuge with his family during the Second World War, this stage leads through the sparsely populated Wahnbach valley. Sometimes on the heights, sometimes in the valley, the trail mostly runs in the shade of extensive forests and passes the picturesque Herrenteich pond - the "Mucher Meer". In the last third, the stage offers glimpses of wide valley meadows and picturesque views over the heights of the Bergisches Land region.

If you hike the Bergischer Weg and take photos at certain points along the way, you can collect points and receive a hiking pin. For more information, click here
