Bergisch Panorama Trail: Stage 4

The route from the Dhünn valley to the "city on the hill”, as Radevormwald is fondly called by its inhabitants, is full of variety. Gentle, winding ranges of hills accompany hikers first to Hückeswagen, which invites you to take a stroll around the town with its historical alleyways, slated houses and rustic castle complex. The route is then defined by water, forest and wind through the Wupper valley, which has been dammed down the valley to the Wuppertalsperre reservoir, and then up to Radevormwald, 421 metres above sea level.
