The history of mills in Kürten

For centuries, humans have been using the power of water in the rainy Bergisches Land. Between the Wupper and Sieg over a thousand mills once clattered. They were used to grind corn, produce gunpowder or grind bone. The Kürtener Mühlenweg (Kürten Mills Trail) takes you on an exciting journey through time into the history of the mills.
